With 23 regular seasons left to play, the Lakers find themselves in the 13th place in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles needs to climb at least 3 places to make to the play-in tournament and have a chance at qualifying for the playoffs.
Former NBA player Jalen Rose is confident that the Purple and Gold can turn things around and make it to postseason despite being in a complicated situation.
“I believe LeBron James and Anthony Davis will find a way to get these Los Angeles Lakers to the playoffs,” Rose said on Get Up, via Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.
“Ultimately having those two guys, and LeBron playing as dominant as he’s playing. If Anthony Davis can stay healthy, these Lakers will be in the playoffs. So we don’t have to worry about the embarrassment of thinking the Purple and Gold won’t be in.”
