Croatian player of Real Madrid, Mario Hezonja, emphasizes that his team is the Finals of the EuroLeague only because they believed they can reach it. His Real Madrid will face Olympiacos for the chance to win the trophy.
“We have ups and downs the entire year. We didn’t play so well through some challenges during the season, but our team has proven winners (Sergio Rodriguez, Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Llull, Adam Hanga). They really elevated our level of basketball, and all the younger guys, including me, just started to follow up. Obviously, when you mix the energy of the youth and the experience of the veteran players, this is how it looks. And just because we believed, we are now here“, said Hezonja while is expecting Final game against Olympiacos.
“They are an amazing team and the regular season they finished first for the reason. We know how good they are. They beat us two times (during the regular season). Now, they will be even more mentally prepared because it’s going to be a war in the final. And I hope we will be the winners. For sure we will try.”
