The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks have announced the signing of Terrell Allen to their roster for the upcoming British Basketball League season.
Hailing from the Upper Marlboro, Maryland in the United States, the dynamic guard is set to bring his impressive skillset and extensive experience to the Sharks’ line-up. Allen graduated from Georgetown University in 2020, having also served stints at Drexel and UCF.
Since then, Allen has showcased his abilities as a point guard for various European teams with stops at Final Spor Genclik in Turkey, Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in Austria, and most recently with KK Kumanovo in Macedonia. Terrell excelled in Macedonia averaging 18.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2 steals per game.
The 27-year-old guard is known for skilful ball-handling, scoring ability, exceptional court vision and has proven himself to be an all-around talent, capable of being a leader with his consistent performances. His versatility on both ends of the floor make him one of the most exciting signings of the summer for the Sharks.
Speaking about his signing with the Sheffield Sharks, Terrell Allen expressed his excitement, stating:
“I am truly honoured to join the Sharks and look forward to competing in the British Basketball League. The league and the team seem to be heading in a great direction and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Sharks Head Coach Atiba Lyons added:
