Plymouth City Patriots are to remain at Plymouth Pavilions the for remainder of 2022-23 British Basketball League Season.

As discussions regarding a permanent venue continue, the club today announced that it will remain at Plymouth Pavilions for the remainder of this season. Dates had previously only been released for 2022 with plans to get a venue ready for 2023 but negotiations continue which are not able to be concluded in time for this season.

“The club have been working extremely hard to finalise a sustainable venue and this work will continue throughout this season,” said Patriots Chairman Carl Heslop.

“We hope to have more news on this soon and would thank the Pavilions for allowing us to complete our dates for another season.”

“Over the last decade we are so proud to have played a key role in assuring the survival of professional basketball in the City, by providing a home and contributing the equivalent of more than £2 million in support to the Plymouth City Patriots,” said Pavilions’ CEO, Sarah Phillips.

“With the Club so close to finalising exciting plans for their new venue, we’re pleased to continue our support and extend their stay with us. We look forward to celebrating Patriots’ success over the coming months, ahead of their move to pastures new next season.”

Tickets and dates will be made available in the coming weeks and bookings will be available through the Pavilions website as soon as these are available to purchase.
