Sheffield Sharks and LivingCare Group today announced their partnership at the Park Community Arena.
The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks are a professional basketball team that compete in the top tiered British Basketball League. Entering the league in 1994 the Sharks have amassed 14 BBL titles, making them one of the most successful franchises in league history.
LivingCare open the doors to their Medical Diagnostic Centre in Sheffield in the late Summer of 2023 and will hold the latest medical imaging technology building on the reputation of being one of the largest sports imaging providers in the country. The centre will host NHS, Private and Sports patients providing them with excellent outpatient and diagnostic provision.
This partnership sees Sheffield Sharks, Sheffield Hatters and their wider family having access to the medical diagnostic provision, along with working with the LivingCare team to bring marginal gains to their on-court performances. This partnership sees the two organisations look at improving player safety and welfare across the men’s teams, women’s teams, and academy teams. The team at LivingCare are bringing technology that is being developed through national health accelerators and innovator programmes into the sport.
