Louie Tucker has re-joined his boyhood club Bristol Flyers ahead of the 2022-23 BBL season.
Tucker becomes a Flyers player once again, two years since he departed for Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas, having played through all of the club’s junior age groups since Under-12 level.
Now 18-years-old, the GB junior International returns to Bristol fresh off a stint with the Hoopsfix Elite roster in the recent AXE Euro Tour, to add further strength to Andreas Kapoulas’ backcourt ahead of the new BBL season.
“It feels great to be a part of the BBL programme as a Bristol-born player,” said Tucker.
“Having come through all of the junior age groups at the club and now into the first team means a lot to me.
“I want to make a big step in my game this season and learn from Coach Kapoulas and the pro players on the team.”
Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas added: “We’re pleased to welcome Louie back to Bristol and are excited to see him a Flyers jersey once again.
“He is a talented, homegrown player that has come through our player pathway and has picked up valuable experiences during his time in the US.
“Being in our squad while studying and training at SGS College will provide him the right environment to develop his game further. We look forward to seeing his progress over the course of the season.”
