BT Sport have agreed an exclusive broadcast rights package which will see them show all of London Lions 7DAYS EuroCup fixtures live this season.
The Lions got their European campaign underway live on BT Sport last week as they lost out in an entertaining game away at Hapoel Tel Aviv. Attention now turns to their first home fixture of the competition against Dolomiti Energia Trento at London’s Copperbox Arena this Tuesday (18th October, 19:15), which will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1.
The Lions are the first British Basketball League side to participate in Basketball’s elite European competition since 2007 and with excitement around the sport continuing to grow, this latest deal will see more eyes on the sport in the UK than ever before.
BT Sport will show all of London Lions 7DAYS EuroCup remaining fixtures both at home and abroad across their channels and their red button service. The broadcast deal also includes rights to the competitions Semi-Final and Final which takes place on 3rd May, 2023.

18 October – 7.15pm – London Lions v Dolomiti Energia Trento – BT Sport 1
26 October – 7.45pm – Gran Canaria v London Lions – BT Sport 8
1 November – 7.15pm – London Lions v Buducnost Voli Podgorica – BT Sport 9
22 November – 6.15pm – Veolia Towers Hamburg v London Lions – BT Sport 1
30 November – 7.15pm – London Lions v Slask Wroclaw- BT Sport 1
The Lions will be representing British Basketball playing against some of the continent’s very best teams and following an electric start to their domestic campaign, Ryan Schmidt’s side will be relishing the opportunity to make their mark in the all important group stage matches ahead.
