Bennett Koch is back for a fourth consecutive season with B. Braun Sheffield Sharks.
The 6’10″ Centre from Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, returns to South Yorkshire following the 2020-21 campaign where he contributed 7.7 points per game with 4.2 rebounds on 51.9% shooting.
“It’s great to have Bennett back in blue and gold. He is a guy that has been around the club for a few years now,” said Head Coach Atiba Lyons.
“He is comfortable here, knows the culture, knows the league, and what it takes to win here. We are expecting big things from him this season.”
The 27-year-old now enters his fourth season in Sheffield after having joined the club back in 2019-20 campaign.
“I am looking forward to another year in Sheffield,” added Koch. “I know the system here and really think I can build off the momentum we had towards the end of last season.
“Coach Lyons does a great job preparing us to play hard and put ourselves in the best position to win.”
Bennett Koch joins newly appointed captain Rodney Glasgow Jr, Marcus Delpeche, and Nate Montgomery and newcomers Javion Ogunyemi and Channel Banks for the new campaign.
The Sharks take on the London Lions in the first match of the season Friday, 23rd September in Sheffield at 7:30pm LIVE on Sky Sports.
