Deni Avdija: “I definitely feel like I’m evolving”

Washington Wizards small forward Deni Avdija talked about his development on both ends after last night’s 119-100 road win vs. the Orlando Magic (13 points/7 rebounds/6 assists/2 steals/1 block/5-8 FG/2-5 3-PT/1-1 FT).

(via Washington Wizards):

“I definitely feel like I’m evolving almost every game defensively. I’m learning new stuff. I’m seeing clips. I’m really trying to take my defense level to the next level, and I feel like it’s only the beginning for me. I’m excited to see where my limits can take me with my potential defensively and offensively. But for now, I’m happy that I’m learning every day and that we got a special defender like Delon [Wright] next to me who has experience and really helps me out. As I said, I think I can do a lot more damage on both ends of the floor and I’m excited to do it in the future.”
