New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby will be sidelined after undergoing surgery for an elbow issue.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Anunoby had surgery to address a loose bone fragment in his right elbow, requiring a minimum of three weeks for recovery.
The procedure, though minor, is crucial for Anunoby’s full recovery and aims to have him back in action for the Knicks’ stretch run and postseason.
He had tried resting but this procedure turned out to be the best route to get him fully healed and playing again for the stretch run and postseason, sources said.
