While hosting his radio show, “The Saturday Stein Line” on 97.1 The Freak, NBA insider Marc Stein answered questions from listeners, including the Dallas Mavericks lingering hopes to land the Atlanta Hawks big man Clint Capela.
“The Mavericks don’t want to be done. Maybe they are done with this roster because further moves are not available to them,” Stein said. “They would love if the chance to make another trade run at Clint Capela from the Atlanta Hawks materializes.
“To this point, as we dribble to the end of July, that opportunity has not availed itself to the Mavericks. But, will Atlanta move Capela elsewhere that creates an opportunity for Dallas to get in as the third team?”
