Panathinaikos Athens is facing a setback as their forward, Juancho Hernangomez, will be sidelined for the next two months due to a fracture in the little finger of his left hand sustained during practice.
The Spanish player is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday (8/11). This injury follows Ioannis Papapetrou, making Hernangomez the second Panathinaikos forward to miss the remainder of 2023.
Coach Ergin Ataman hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a new signing to address the gap at the “3” position, and the club’s approach in the market may intensify following Hernangomez’s injury.
