Ben Simmons says that the energy is good within the team after the trade deadline as players are motivated and want to play.
“We’ve got a lot of guys that are happy to be here and just want to play and win. So they compete. So it’s good; it’s good energy here,” the 26-year-old point guard said, per Brian Lewis of New York Post.
Simmons is expected to get more playing time and chances to make plays after Durant and Irving left the team.
